July has been a month filled with lots new beauty bits on my desk, Some I have splurged out on for myself and a few I have been sent from PR
The items that make it into my makeup bag are the only ones that can be crowned the firm favourites as I use them everyday!
1. Bobbi Brown Afternoon Glow Highlighter (limited edition)
From the sunset glow collection which released earlier this month, I am such a BB highlighter junkie that I made a point to go into store the day it released and grab one because they never fail to deliver the most gorgeous and flattering tones of shimmer with the formula being exceptionally smooth!  They are quite pricey but last a lifetime!
$99

2. Ouai Wave Spray
Its no secret I love me some big ass hair! When I heard that Jen Atkins brand Ouai was made available to us kiwis via www.sephora.nz I got so excited, jumped straight online and ordered some as the wave spray was the first on my radar to try - and I can tell you I now live for this stuff! Its even replaced my beloved Oribe dry texturing spray! Which TBH I am quite happy about because its a hell of a lot cheaper than Oribe. I like to spritz this through mid lengths and ends after I have put loose waves in my hair with the flat iron, It gives the hair a weightless grip making it easy to build up texture and volume whilst perfectly achieving the beach hair look of slightly salty ultimate cool girl looking hair :)
RRP $40

3. Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist
This stuff is heaven to spritz on after makeup application, It smells like a spa!
Im usually quite an oily gal but I still really like the look of dewy skin, Its hard to find a spray that gives a good dew but won't make your face slide off in 30 minutes.
I feel like this one somehow magically locks the makeup in place and settles down any powders but gives a dewy finish thats long wearing...WIN WIN! I buy pixi online from asos.com and I believe this was $40

4. Estee Lauder Genuine Glow Moisturising Primer*
As I mentioned I love dewy skin, But with being oily sometimes using a glow enhancing primer that has shimmer in it looks great after 5 minutes but after 6 hours wear when the oil comes into factor you look like a hot mess! So this stuff here is a glowing primer with no shimmer visible to the eye but being a balm like texture it makes my foundation smooth over seamlessly creating a beautiful smooth canvas

5.Mac Liquid Liner in Black Boot
Whenever you see me wearing a winged liner its this product! Super pigmented and I find the tip stays really sharp. I know liquid liner can sometimes be a bit scary to use and prior to trying this I always leaned towards gel liners but this one lasts all day doesn't smudge, I have had this one for about 3 months and it still hasn't dried up!

6. Maybelline Master Conceal in Light*
I can't recommend this one enough - Finally an affordable product that in my opinion matches up to the quality of Mac prolongwear concealer and makeupforever full cover concealer only its 1/2 the price at $19.99. I have been seriously loving this for under my eyes its goes on creamy then once blended in completely sets and doesn't crease on me (I always set my concealer with laura mercier translucent powder) launched on counters at the beginning of the month

7. Mac Blush in Peaches
In the last year I have been leaning more towards orange based blushes rather than pinks and I think I have found the perfect shade of peach! Peaches from mac goes with practically any makeup look and perks up the cheeks so well. I also have it in my kit blush palette because it suits everyone!

8. Bobbi Brown Bronzer in Golden Light
Golden Light has always been a permanent shade in the Bobbi Brown bronzer line and the most popular if you ask me it never looks orange or too cool toned it fits somewhere perfectly in the middle. Recently Bobbi Brown brought it out in this gorgeous limited edition packaging with double the original size, Its huge! The best part is at $75 its only $10 more than the smaller size which I thought was pretty good price for the amount of product, So much so I brought two one for me and one for my kit.

9. YSL nail polish in Beige
So much love for this shade! Its such a flattering pink nude Its all I have been wearing on my nails recently. Not to mention how beautiful the packaging is....swooon!
I would even go as far as saying it would be the perfect wedding day blush nude

10. Benefit Good Proof brow Pencil and Ready Set brow (clear brow gel)*
This combo right here has made me fall back in love with filling in my brows! The slightly thicker pencil is super quick to use, strengthening up shape and filling in any gaps, then brush the ready set brow through and my brows don't budge all day! I actually really enjoy a more fluffy brow so the brow gel has a really awesome hold to keep them from going too flat

So thats everything I have been really enjoying for the month of July they all get a big thumbs up and I feel as though I can highly recommend them
