There is absolutely no denying the effect that retail therapy can have on thy self! Some are better than others but I will admit I am a true consumer when it comes to buying things that are totally a want not a need, I figure that I work hard for my money I'll spend it on whatever I like #NOREGRETS

This post is in no way gloating or bragging I find it somewhat empowering for myself knowing that I didn't always have the luxury to buy a few finer things for myself every once in a while...take it back 5 years to when I was 20 years old working 5-6 days a week on my feet all day Hairdressing.
I was flatting and having to make $350- $400 a week cover my rent, power, food, petrol, phone bill and the rest!
I was always that girl scraping by hanging out for pay day to roll around every week because I had 39 cents in my account
I was always asking my mum to loan me $20 because my petrol light had been on E light for approximately 9 days (Thanks Mum)
My sister called me the E light expert because if she ever got in my car she would say "Oh my god your going to run out of gas Fiona!" I would reply with NAH its only been on for three days we'll be right...

So back to the main reason I thought I would share this post...Sometimes a girls just gotta treat herself so here are my ultimate favourite purchases I have absolutely no regrets buying!

1. Harman Grubisa Georgina Jacket
This beauty won me over and now has my heart forever, It has to be one of my most prized possessions! A biker style jacket with tibetan lambs wool collar and cuffs - so dreamy to wear and I feel as though every time I wear it the price is justified as I have an alter ego of a sass queen which makes me feel like I can conquer the world! Everyone needs a garment that makes them feel that way in my opinion!
It is such a beautiful statement piece and I have worn it to death last winter and this winter and very unique I haven't seen anything else available in New Zealand quite like it.
I am also very partial to the Brand HG as the two girls behind it Maddy & Jess are absolute girl bosses and I have a major crush on them
(Side note the only down side to being pregnant is I can't zip this jacket up anymore...sigh)

2. Zoe and Morgan Sky Earrings
I am such an earrings girl! They instantly make me feel that little bit more dressed up/put together.
I always get comments when I wear this pair wherever I go and they are the most comfortable semi/statement earrings to wear as they are feather light on the lobes!
I think any jewellery item is a great investment as its generally something you'll have forever if you buy good quality. I have a few pieces from Zoe and Morgan now and her styles never get old to me

ACNE CHELSEA BOOTS FT 20WK OLD BUMP
3. Acne Chelsea Boots
I have adored these for the longest time! I can count how many times I have talked myself out of buying them because they are just black boots.
I even attempted to have this exact style made in bali earlier this year while on our honeymoon as I had heard good things about the bali tailor being a great place to get leather goods made.

I had them made for $180 for them to only be a fail...they looked suspiciously cow-boyish with a very long pointed toe that was slightly upturned, not the coolest look Ive seen.
So back in April Josh and I did a long weekend in Melbourne and you can't have a long weekend in Melbourne without shopping right?! I popped into the Acne store and tried my dream boots on, just like that I haven't taken them off since.
Unfortunately I wasn't blessed with long pins so the pointed toe really elongates my legs in photos which is a real bonus.
They are the most comfortable boots and go with absolutely any outfit in my opinion so I feel as though they have been money well spent!

4. Mac Lipstick
There is something about buying myself a kick ass bright lippy every now and then that makes me feel some type of way...This particular shade I am always drawn to that bright punchy red/pink does wonders for the complexion when paired with simple eye makeup.
I think a lipstick is such a great item to treat yourself with that won't necessarily break the bank but can really change the way you feel, Pop it on for a special occasion or when your feeling fancy and all is well in the world!
This one pictured is a liptensity formula which is super creamy to wear. Shade is "Postmodern"

5. Tom Ford Orchid Soleil
This fragrance is very special to me as it was my wedding day scent of choice.
I wanted something that I wouldn't wear all the time so there fore when I did wear it, It would remind me of our wedding day! I mostly chose it because it smells so fancy and feminine, one that you only pull out for special occasions! I would describe it as very luxurious and rich with quite sweet musky notes of vanilla and orchid.
Such a beautiful treat yourself item as every time I wear it, it takes me back to our amazing day!

6. Tom Ford Eye Quad in Honey Moon
walking past the tom ford counter always has me a little weak at the knees! I have spoken about this quad in a blog post before as it was used in my wedding day makeup so you may have heard me talking about how much I love it already! The shades are so dreamy and I can easily get wear out of this palette from day to night.
The packaging as to be expected from Tom Ford is super luxe, the shadows deliver amazing pigment and blend like a dream! If I am going to splurge on any makeup brand it will for sure be TF

7. Diptyque Candle
If you are a candle lover trust me on this one you need to try Diptyque! I won't lie they are very pricey for a candle but its the fragrances they have that transport me to paris every time the scent fills up my house.
Something I don't use all the time but such a treat when you have had a long day, my idea of absolute bliss is to pour yourself a glass of wine put some music on and light that candle up.
Always justified by telling myself I can recycle the jars once finished as a makeup brush jar which looks very pretty and chic on your dresser! Just be sure to google how to clean them if you do its very easy!

8. Gucci Wallet
What can I say this was a very spendy item for me, Ive never owned anything as high end as Gucci before but after last seasons busy wedding season I decided I deserved something to splurge on. I am super pleased with how it has worn, the leather is soft yet hard at the same time so it doesn't have any scratch or wear marks (as you would hope!) I think it looks timeless and will never date.
When my husband saw it he said what does GG stand for.. Girl gang or something?? I just laughed and said yeah babe!

LOL
