Probably the number one question I got asked during the lead up before my wedding was "Who will do your makeup?!" I would always reply with... ME of course!
Mostly because I absolutely love doing my own makeup I get so much enjoyment out of getting glammed up, So my wedding day makeup was the absolute pinnacle of that feeling!

I didn't really set out with a particular look in mind. In fact, I knew I wouldn't look much different or have a completely revolutionary look up my sleeve I had never done before because makeup is my job and I often wear a full face of makeup.

I wanted to look like the best version of me and highlight all my favourite features
I wanted soft feathery brows, flawless and glowing skin, sultry eyes that sparkled with a super wispy lash and a sheer nearly nothing on the lips look and very long wearing to with stand a few tears along the way!
As you can see most of the focus is on the eyes and I think a huge part that keeps it not too over done looking is pairing it with very soft brows and sheer lips, Thats just the look I wanted to go for. Because I wore a colour for my wedding dress I really wanted the colours to compliment the blush tones but still look neutral.

Thank goodness my skin was really behaving that day and I had no break outs to deal with!
Here is what I used and in the exact order...With a few sips of champagne here and there ;)

Bobbi Brown vitamin enriched face base
Guerlain Meteorites base primer
Tatcha dewy skin mist all over face and neck
Mac soft ocre pain pot all over the eye lids

Mac matte shadows in blanc type, kid, soft brown and espresso.
Tom Ford eye quad in Honeymoon
Charlotte tilbury dolce vita palette ( I only used the gold sparkle shade from this to press over top on the lids )
Collection felt tip liner to get precise wing and sharp tip
Inglot gel liner over top for jet black colour and staying power
Maybelline lash sensational in water proof
Red Cherry Lashes in #415

Foundation was equal parts mixed of Nars Sheer Glow, Georgio Armani Luminous Silk & Makeup forever HD foundation (this is not at all necessary but I just tried it one day and love the finish it gave)
Mac prolongwear concealer under my eyes (amazing staying power and doesn't get disrupted too much by tears)
Set straight away with Laura Mercier loose Translucent powder
Chanel powder universal to set the skin all over lightly

Hourglass Ambient lighting Bronzer swept under cheek bones, along jawline, blended down neck and into hairline on forehead
Kevyn Aucoin sculpting powder - I didn't do any major contouring just added a little into the  very hollow of my cheek bone to accentuate and give shape.
Tom Ford Skin Illuminating Powder Duo in Moodlight - I used the bronzer shade over top of the bronzer i higher planes of the fave to give a more luminous bronze glow
Bobbi Brown Afternoon glow highlighter
Dior Nude air luminizer
Chanel Blush in sunkissed ribbon (limited edition)
Loreal brow artist plumper in brunette (not pictured)
Benefit ready set brow (not pictured)
YSL rouge volupte shine in #44 which gives a gorgeous pale pink sheen and is very nourishing and comfortable on the lips. I love how when it wears off it leaves a faint pink stain (not pictured)
Makeup forever mist and fix to set everything in place and give longevity
