Being a hairdresser of 10 years now...wow that makes me sound kinda old? I always associate feeling put together with having my hair done, probably just the hairdresser in me but I quite often get comments on what I do to keep my mane in check and also how I style it!
So I thought it would be a great Idea to put it all into a video for you guys Link Below

With so many brands doing liquid lipstick formulas now there seems to be a million and one products on the market which makes it very hard to narrow down which one you might like to buy.
So I thought you might be interested in the ones that I favour the most in my collection and can highly recommend as I adore the shades and how they wear on the lips! July has been a month filled with lots new beauty bits on my desk, Some I have splurged out on for myself and a few I have been sent from PR
The items that make it into my makeup bag are the only ones that can be crowned the firm favourites as I use them everyday! A little bit of my own brow history for you... If you look deep enough into my tagged photos on Facebook you might be able to see the slightly terrifying proof of earlier days experimenting with filling in my brows, I used to block fill in my brows so there was absolutely no skin showing through, very strong shape and almost offensive to look at...
But hey at the time I thought they looked amazing! I was Lucky enough to attend the #WowBrowsNz product launch on Friday night held at Twenty One Bar in Auckland City
Let me tell you, The Gals from @benefitnz sure know how to throw a launch party! Everything was magical themed they had a magician walking around performing magic tricks before putting on a show to reveal the new products while Delicious Cocktails and Canapés were served Makeup, drinks and food?! I was all about it. Setting sprays have become more and more of a necessity to my makeup routine, They are also becoming extremely popular with lots of brands releasing their own.
Whether going for minimal makeup or full on glam I can't help but spritz! I love the way it settles down any powders applied making for a more skin like finish. Read my thoughts and why I love each of these makeup spritzers So I decided it was finally time to bite the bullet ;) and melt down all of my beloved Mac lipsticks into a much more easily accessible and practical palette.
As I have been getting busier and busier with my freelance makeup I came to realize the frustration of rummaging through a bag full of lippies which was like winning the lotto pulling out the color I wanted! So If you are curious to know how I did this or just interested in the shades I have, then keep reading and I will take you through the method I followed and some photos along the way. |
