A little story time if Y'all remember I had a weak moment about three months ago, something came over me wanting a big hair change!
Deciding to colour my hair to a vibrant red/copper brown as pictured  >

Colouring over Josephs hard work seemed like such a great idea at the time as it always does!
I had been "bronde" for the last 4 years which meant my hair was in optimum condition as I kept up with regular trims and only ever coloured the new growth.

I loved it for all of about 5 minutes...well not really but lets just say I only lasted 8 short weeks before I was back in that salon chair pleading with Joseph to take me back to my golden tresses!
Being a hairdresser myself I was totally aware the damage going back lighter would cause especially as we did it in one sitting which I wouldn't recommend.
He's a hair magician when it comes to blonde so after 4 hours of packing in those foils and toning to perfection I was back to almost exactly what I was prior to colouring it darker, which I was ecstatic about!

But in all reality my hair really felt as though I had given it the raw deal!
As to be expected it was extremely dry and I had to be really gentle when it was wet being fragile in places...My hairbrush was a huge giveaway that my poor hair was breaking.
When I styled it the ends looked frazzled and split, as much as the foils were great there was no denying it needed some TLC!
Thats when I knew I had to bring out the big guns to really nurture it back to health.

In my ten years experience hairdressing, Kerastase has been a brand I have always sworn by and highly respected
The products are always such beautiful quality and deliver the results they claim to promise.

With my hair dilemma I knew I had to get some Kerastase into my shower pronto!
As my hair was damaged, in need of repair and strengthening I went out and brought the Resistance Force Architect shampoo and conditioner to help rebuild my hair cuticle again.
After using these two in the shower I would apply the Nutritive creme magistral a leave in balm to deeply nourish the hair and also protect from any heat tools.
Bare in  mind I think the biggest key is to towel dry the hair then let it air dry and avoid the hairdryer all together!
Using this routine for a month or so really worked wonders and my hair bounced back..Hallelujah!

Now that my hair was stronger an repaired I needed to switch up my routine to maintain the colour and have it looking its absolute best - Which brings me to introduce the Kerastase Chromatique Reflection range which promises to deliver more radiant locks and give a softening effect on the hair

I will use the shampoo and conditioner every second or third day that I wash my hair switching out the conditioner for the masque once a week to give the hair a real deep condition, my weekly highlight as the masque is seriously where its at people!

Probably my favourite addition to this range is the new colour correctors and colour enhancers you can add to your masque with ten clicks!
After lightening over copper tones in my hair I'm constantly trying to manage the brassy hues that come through.
Which I know a lot of you blondes out there are familiar with!

I use the cool blonde which is the violet shade to counteract the warmth and it works a treat! Not to mention it saves me so much time and money not having to book into the salon for a toner.

After shower care I work through about three pumps of the Fluide Chromatique Hair oil which is unbelievably lightweight yet adds an extra dose of shine and I have to mention how incredible this range smells!

I will forever be loyal to Kerastase, It is such a wonderful brand that I trust will always have my back when I decide to sabotage my own hair (I will blame this on The pregnancy hormones)

Promise I won't do it again Joseph!
